Funeral services for Ray Casey, 61, of 111 Rebecca, who died Friday in a Marlin hospital, will be held at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of Hillier Funeral Home. Mr. Casey was born Jan. 31, 1904 in Cameron. He had worked as a military clerk at Texas A&M University for 17 years before his retirement in 1961. He was also a former manager of the Joe L. Ward Co. Mr. Casey was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bryan and was a veteran of World War II. He had lived in Bryan since 1927. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Thelma P. Casey of Bryan; three sisters, Mrs. Lee Shires of Graford, Mrs Dorothy Geter (sic) and Mrs. Corene Strickland, both of Cameron; and one brother, Grady Casey of Austin. Dr. R. H. Ross of the First Baptist Church will officiate last rites. Burial will be in Rest-ever Memorial Park with W. A. Norman, R. C. Franks, Emory Smith, E. M. Bryant, Travis Nelson and Eddie McSwain serving as pallbearers.
