Alice was born in Stratford to Earnest & Anzie (McConnell) Wooten. She grew up in the Stratford area where she graduated high school. She had lived in the Wynnewood and Pauls Valley area most of her life.
She was married to Alex Lawson who preceded her in death.
She later married Jessie Markum who also preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Baptist faith. She had operated a In Home Day Care center.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, and 8 brothers.
Survivors: Daughter & her husband: Gayle & Clifford Hughes, Daughters: Virgie Thompson, & Lavern Osborne. Son & wife: Duane "Curley" & Verlie Lawson, J. E. Markum, Eugene Markum, Carroll Lee Markum, Larry Markum, Gary Markum, Donnie Markum, Brother; Leon Wooten & sisters: Anzie Ivon Thomas & Esther May Womack. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, & great great grandchildren.
Services: Wednesday September 12 at 10:00AM at the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Wynnewood with interment in the Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood.
