Mrs. Ella Newcomb Mohr, 80 of Shelby Township, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry McCrea, in Hendricks Township at 8:30 Tuesday night.
She was taken to her daughter's home three weeks ago following a fall at her home in which she fractured her hip.
She was the daughter of Joshua and Jane Newcomb and was born September 23, 1857 being the last of a family of seven children.
On February 12, 1880 the deceased married John Mohr, who died June 9, 1934.
Four children were born and two survive.
They are Mrs. McCrea, at whose home she died, and Mrs. Dave Hey, of Shelby township. Survivors also include three grandchildren.
Mrs. Mohr was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church at Smithland with the Rev. Walter P. Halbert pastor of the First Baptist Church here, officiating.
Burial will be in Miller Cemetery in charge of Ralph J. Edwards, funeral director.
