Della Horton Good
KINGSPORT---Della Horton (Bloomer) Good, 95, Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday (July 2, 2006) at Brookhaven Manor.
Born in Scott County, Va., (Clinchport), Mrs. Good moved to Kingsport at an early age. She retired from Freel's Drugstore, where she had worked for many years and was a member of First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harlan Karl Horton; her second husband, James Good; daughter, Linda Simpson; and several sisters and brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Pauline Hall, Kingsport; grandchildren, Rhonda Carpenter, Theresa Hall, Karl Hall, Tammy Williams, Tracy Deal, Mark Simpson and Ken Simpson; several grand-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice or your local church.
