JACKSON, Tenn., Feb. 3.—Dana Shelton, aged 39 years, died at the home of his mother, Mrs. Neely Shelton, at Oakfield, in this county, Thursday afternoon. Deceased had been ill for several years with tuberculosis.
Deceased was a successful farmer and a member of one of the county's most prominent families. He leaves his wife, his mother, one brother, Will Shelton, and four sisters, Mrs. Harris Andrews of Spring Creek, Mrs. Richard Dyer of Oakfield, Mrs. Wilburn Deloach of Carroll, and Miss Mattie Shelton of Oakfield. The funeral occurred yesterday.
