Services for Vivian Simmons, 68, of Ralls were held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 1989 in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Darris Egger, a retired Methodist minister from Abilene, officiating. Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under the direction of Carter-Adams Funeral Home.
She died at 1:40 p.m. Monday, May 29, 1989 in Crosbyton Clinic Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born Nov. 15, 1920 in Childress, TX and moved to Crosby County in 1937, then to Ralls in 1959. She was a member of the Ralls First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three brothers, Cleo Simmons and C.K. Simmons, both of Crosbyton and Elmer Simmons of Ralls.
