Rites Are Set For Resident Of Port Lavaca
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Florence Buren, 67, who died in Port Lavaca Tuesday, will be held Friday at 9 a.m. at the G. C. Boyd Home, Port Lavaca, and at Our Lady of the Gulf Church at 9:30.
The Rev. Fathers Thomas Buren, Charles Conaty and Francis Taylor will officiate. Interment will be in Lynnworth Cemetery, arrangements by the Muske Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Boyd home.
Native of Kentucky, Mrs. Buren has resided in Calhoun County 32 years. She was the wife of E. C. Buren, Port Lavaca farmer. Besides her husband, she is survived by her sons. J. P. Buren of Port Lavaca, E. Chester Buren of Carlsbad, and Charles L. Buren of Los Angeles, California; daughters, Mesdames Susan Emile Boyd, Mary EIlender Guidry and Isabel Catherine Guidry, all of Port Lavaca; brother, Edward Troutman of SheppardsvIlle, Kentucky; sisters, Mrs. W. T. Elder of Wolf Creek, Kentucky, Mrs. Daisy Greenwell of Bellview, Kentucky, and Mrs. Ralph Coffman of Corral, Ohio.
The Girls Friendly Society of Port Lavaca will act as flower committee.
