Herbert E. Baldwin, 91, died Thursday, December 25, 1975, in the Heritage Rest Home at Girard
Mr. Baldwin was born February 1, 1884, in Sadorus, Champaign Co., Illinois, but came to Crawford County as a child with his parents and brother. He was a near lifetime resident of the Girard area. On March 27, 1906, he married Flora E. Johnston.
Survivors include his widow; three daughters: Mrs. Harry (Chloe) Ganzman, 205 W. Quincy, Pittsburg; Mrs. John (Doris) Hunsaker, Orange, California; and Mrs. Donald (Esther) Bergstrom, Anchorage, Alaska; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A son, Clyde Baldwin, died in 1972.
Services were held at the W. D. Smith Funeral Home, Girard, with the Rev. Leonard Morrison officiating. Burial was in the Girard Cemetery.
