She was born at Somerset, Ky., and was married there in 1913 to Virgil Wallace who died in 1960. The family lived on a farm in Washington township for a number of years before moving to Brook in 1950. Mrs. Wallace was a member of the Mt. Zion E.U.B. church.
Funeral services were held there on Wednesday afternoon, Rev. M.C. Bonecutter officiating and burial was in the Mt. Zion cemetery.
Surviving are two sons, Wesley of Sheldon, Ill. and Roy of Kentland; three daughters, Mrs. Lena Weishaar of Brook, Miss Edna Wallace at home, and Miss Betty Jo Wallace of Lafayette; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Mitchel Butte, and a brother, K. Wesley, both of Somerset.
