She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church in Carbondale. She was a 1949 graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School in Carbondale. She originally started working for the Acme Super Market in Jermyn then Clarks Summit and also in Carbondale.
She was selected to decorate a faberge egg for the White House. During the Easter season, she delivered the egg personally to the White House during the Clinton presidency. She showed her faberge eggs that she made for many years in nursing homes, churches, societies and various organizations along with giving away eggs to her family and friends. She was an avid crafter and also a member of the Red Hats Dames of Aubergine Society of Jermyn.
