WARD, EDWARD LYNN, of Trenton died Tuesday at North Florida Regional Medical Center. He was 68. Mr. Ward was a lifetime resident of Trenton. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and he was a farmer. Mr. Ward was a deacon at Pine Grove Baptist Church. He was a state secretary for Future Farmers of America in 1946 and 1947 and received the American Farmer Award in 1949. Survivors include his wife, Lina S. Ward of Trenton; two sons, Gary Ward and Joe Ward, both of Chiefland; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Gainesville Sun, The (FL) - Wednesday, December 9, 1998
