Belle Stanford, 92, of Hamilton died Wednesday, Sept. 23 at Leisure Lodge Nursing Home following an extended illness. Graveside funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 24, at Oakwood Cemetery with Elder Ron Harker and Deacon Steve Hastings officiating.
Mrs. Stanford was born Dec. 8, 1899, in Hamilton County to James and Mary Flippen. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hamilton. She was preceded in death by six sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include her husband of Hamilton; two daughters, Oda Fern West of Marble Falls and Myrtle Wright of Fort Worth; one sister, Victoria Smith of Hamilton; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
