Gene passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2006, in Sacramento, California. Gene was a former resident of Coin, Iowa, where he operated a television and radio repair shop.
Survivors include his daughters, Deborah Kay Baker of Citrus Heights, CA, Becky Schoening and her husband Tom of Farragut, IA; four grandchildren, Rob Baker of Citrus Heights, CA, Keaton Dyche, Riley Dyche and Breanna Dyche, all of Farragut, IA; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services were held Friday, July 14, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery in Coin, Iowa. Words of comfort were given by Matthew Olsen. Casket bearers were Keaton Dyche, Riley Dyche, Tom McCollum, Jim Coburn, Morris Dinges and Jacob Coburn. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
