Mr. Watson was the son of Rev.Thomas and Myrtle Church Watson.
He was a member of Sharon Walker Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher . he sang at over 300 funerals.
He was preceded in death by two sisters,Clara Ayers and Rosa Lee barrier ;four brothers,Hobart ,Amos,Robert and Fritz Watson.
He is survived by his wife ,Iva Lea Joan Pennell Watson of the home;one daughter,Debbie Hayworth and fiance,Gwyn Severt of Boomer;one son,Kenneth Watson and wife Teresa of Boomer;onesister,Grace Price of Granite Falls;two Grandchildren,Kevin Hayworth and wife,Dena of Roaring River,Debra Watson of Boomer and one great-grandchild,Tyler Foster of Boomer.
