Funeral Rites Held For Mrs. Schuette
Funeral services for Mr. August Schuette, widow of one of the
city's pioneer merchants who died at her home Tuesday, were held
this afternoon. The Rev. D. G. Ristad of the First Lutheran church
was in charge of the service at the Schuette home, South Eighth
and Hamilton streets. Henry and John Schuette, Clarence, Fred and
George Alter, and Robert Brown were pallbearers. Burial was in
Evergreen cemetery.
The Schuette Bros. company store, which the late August Schuette
headed, was closed this afternoon.
