She lived in North Ridgeville since 1998.

She graduated as co-valedictorian from Elyria High School in 1953 and received a bachelor's degree from Baldwin-Wallace College, Berea, and master's and educational specialist degrees from Kent State University.

Ms. Livermore was an elementary teacher in Battle Creek, Mich., Vermilion and Elyria. In Elyria, she taught at Hamilton and Windsor schools. She also held administrative positions in the Elyria City School District, serving as elementary resource teacher, elementary supervisor and associate superintendent for curriculumn and instruction, grades kindergarten through 12. After retirement, she served as assistant professor for Ashland University's College of Education.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Elyria. She served on the boards of the Lucy Idol Center for the Handicapped and the Elyria City Schools' Endowment Fund and on several college scholarship committees. She received the Lorain County Women of Achievement award in 1986.

Survivors include her sister, Elaine Graw of North Ridgeville; and two nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents Leo and Marion Livermore; and sister, Nancy Livermore.

Friends may call Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., at Busch-Curtis-Scheuffler Family Chapel, 114 Second St., Elyria. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in First Baptist Church, 11400 LaGrange Road. The Rev. Bradley Quick, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Carlisle Township.
