Randy was born on April 16, 1944, in Stokes County, to the late Paul and Gladys Bennett. He was retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobaccoville Plant and was a member of Lawsonville Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Zannie and Don Bennett; and a brother-in-law, Clinton Bullins. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Pat Mabe Bennett of the home; daughters, Laura (Timmy) Wilson and Hope (Richard) Brim, both of Danbury; a brother, Jimmy (Glenda) Bennett of Pilot Mountain; sisters, Shirley Bullins of Lawsonville, Glenda Faye (Laymon) Shelton of Walnut Cove, and Mary Alice (Carlton) Mabe of Danbury; sisters-in-law, Ann Bennett and Mary Ruth Bennett, both of Walnut Cove; grandchildren, Tyler and Ryan Wilson and Taylor, Tatumn, and Tessa Brim; and several nieces and nephews.
