She was born near Mapleville, daughter of the late Silas and May (Newcomer) Foltz. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Leitersburg.
Surviving are sons, Fred, Route 6, Hagerstown Arthur, Tacoma Park; daughters, Mrs. Chester Fahrney, Five Forks; Mrs. Alice Shaffer, Harrisburg; Mrs. Jane Spitzer, Smithsburg; brothers, Fred Foltz, Halfway; Clarence Foltz, Boonsboro; sisters, Mrs. Minerva Grove, Mrs. Callie Miller and Mrs. Alvey Hause, all of Hagerstown; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be from the Minnich funeral home in Hagerstown on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Frank P. Cauble officiating. Burial will be made in the Lutheran Cemetery at Leitersburg.
