Louise "Lou" Farley is very much alive, even though we have created this memorial for her. Together we talked about it because she liked the memorial for her husband, Bish and wanted one for herself and all the family. She said she wanted the photo on her dresser, the one of her and Bish, to be included.

At 97 years of age, she still lives at home and gets around with her walker. She asked me to take some pictures of her future grave as she hopes to join her beloved "Bish" soon. She has been living alone for 33 years this month.

She is the last of all her brothers and sisters which you can find by following the links to her parents.

I told her today, while we were creating this memorial, that I never knew her real first name was Ora, she looked at me a little startled and said, "Well, I never really wanted people to know about that." I always liked to be called "Lou."

Note: Since nobody, even most family, knew of this name, I have changed it in this memorial to reflect how she was known with Louise as first name, for search purposes. But it should be noted her correct name is:

First Name: Ora
Middle Name: Louise
Maiden Name: Clark
Last Name: Farley
Nick Name: Lou

(Name now changed to legal name in 2020)

Update: Aug. 7th.
Aunt Lou had a stroke on Aug. 5, 2010. She is not doing to well. She can't speak but she can squeeze your hand and look into your eyes.

Update Aug. 10th.
Aunt Lou passed away this morning, August 10, 2010 peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side. The past couple of days she was able to sit up and look into the eyes of each person who came to visit her and say their goodbyes. She would squeeze our hand with all the love she had for each family member. It is a blessing that she had this time and was not suffering in anyway. She often looked up into the corner of the room and I'm sure her beloved Bish and family was waiting for her on the other side.
