Emma Terrissa Lackey Keesee, wife of Thomas F. Keesee was the daughter of John J. and Terrissa Mercer Lackey. Children of Emma Terrissa and Thomas F. Keesee are Eugene Mercer, Ernest R., Robert Andrew, Ethel K, Richmond, Wilburn Thomas, William Franklin, Luther Floyd, and George Washington.

Funeral Today for Mrs. Emma Keesee
Rites for Mrs. Emma T. Keesee, 86, who died early Tuesday afternoon, will be conducted in Kiker-Warren funeral chapel at 2 p.m. today with the Rev. Ralph Wootton, pastor of the Sunset Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial is to be in Fort Phantom Hill Cemetery by the side of her husband.
A member of the Baptist church, Mrs. Keesee, who was born in Guadalupe County, Feb. 23, 1859 came to Abilene in 1915 with her husband who died in 1923.
She is survived by seven children, Mrs. L. W. Passmore, E. R., R. A., W. T., and George Keesee, all of Abilene, L. F. Keesee of Austin and W. F. Keesee of Oklahoma; a sister Mrs. Felix Stroud of San Angelo; a brother, A. M. Lackey of Robert Lee; 34 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
