Floyd V. Easley, 66, of Mason City, died Thursday (March 20, 1997) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 N. Pennsylvania Ave. The casket will be closed during visitation.
Memorials may be given to the Floyd V. Easley Memorial Fund.
Floyd V. Easley was born Feb. 14, 1931, in Mason City, the son of Fred W. and Susanna (Gunnels) Easley. He married Janice Deckard on Aug. 27, 1949, in Mason City.
Floyd worked as a plasterer for W.J. Easley and Sons Plastering and Stucco Contractors for many years. He was last employed by St. Joseph Mercy Hospital where he took medical retirement.
Floyd enjoyed gardening and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Easley of Mason City; children, Floyd David Easley of Des Moines; Kevin Easley and his wife, Kathy, of Mason City; Gregg Easley and his fiancee, Linda M. Popp of Mason City; Laura Jiminez and her husband, Ralph, of Fort Myers, Fla.; Dan Easley and his wife, Lisa, of Mason City; and DeAnn Easley of Mason City; grandchildren, David Nathaniel Easley, Kyle Easley, Katie Easley, Kacy Easley, Rhondi Easley, Serena Easley and Blake Easley; brothers, Fred W. Easley Jr. and John Easley, both of Mason City; Thomas Easley of Northwood and Leon Easley of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
