William, age 90, was the son of Deweese and Mildred (Young) Furnas. He married Fay Helen Ferrell on May 20, 1940. He was preceded in death by his wife, his children, James and Richard, his parents, six brothers, and three sisters. Survivors include his children, Margie, Faye, Tyrone, and Mitchel, his siblings, Ruby, Lorena, Lowell, and Donald, 17 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren. Services were held at Hall Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Brownville.
