Cherie Elaine Johnson, 56, a resident of Claremore, Oklahoma died on June 11,2009 in the St. John's Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Cherie was born on April 21, 1953 in Wichita, Kansas to Homer and Dorothy Callagher Alexander.
She was married to Timothy Allen Johnson in Wichita on December 11, 1993.

Survivors include husband, Timothy of the home; son, Burk Shields of Kansas; daughter, Michelle McLane of Claremore; two brothers, James and Clarence Alexander of Climax, Kansas; two sisters, Betty Golden of Wichita, Kansas, and
Violet Buttrey of Vian, Oklahoma. Also surviving is one precious granddaughter, Makayla Arnett of Claremore, Oklahoma.

A memorial service was held for Cherie on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 1:00 p.m.at the Members in Christ Assembly Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Reverend Robert Buttrey, Cherie's brother in law, officiated.

Arrangements were entrusted to Gary Kelley's Add'Vantage Funeral Service, Tulsa, Oklahoma. 918/624-2828
