Lydia Rebecca Buffington was born 13Sep1863 in Salem, Armstrong, Pa. She was the eldest daughter of John and Elisabeth(Minich)Buffington.
She met and married Frank Albert LaShure in 1883.They had 5 children, Rose, Lizzie, Mary, Emma and William. They lived in Seattle, where Emma was born. They finally settled in Medina, Ohio, where her parents lived.
In 1903 and 1904, they lost 2 of their daughters, Mary and Emma, to Thyphoid fever. In 1917 their son, William joined U.S. Navy, World War I.
Lydia lost Frank, when he died in 1931. She followed him in death, 14Feb1935. The family is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio.
