Enoch served as a Private with the 1st Delaware Infantry, Company B during the Civil War.

He enlisted in the 1st Delaware Infantry on February 6, 1864 in Wilmington, Delaware. He was noted as being 29 years old, born in Kent County, Delaware, 5' - 9" tall, light complexion, blue eyes, light hair, and employed as a farmer.

Enoch was "Killed In Action" in the Battle of the Wilderness during the war.
