Robert C. Reichert, 65


LAWRENCE — Robert C. Reichert, 65, of Lawrence, passed away peacefully after a long courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, July 8, 2010.

Robert was the son of the late Carl and Helen Reichert. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in Lawrence. He owned and operated R and R Florals for more than 20 years and was most recently employed with Frito-Lay. Robert was an avid 45's player and also wrote a book on the game itself. He loved bowling, gardening, and trips to the beach. His passion was making and flying kites of all sizes. Robert's favorite place to fly his kites was Salisbury State Park.

Robert is survived by the love of his life of 39 years, Mary Salamanca. He is also survived by his brother, Richard Chojecki of Haverhill; his dearest and closest friends, Rosemarie and Al Chaff, Jennie and Rudy Conte; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call on Sunday, July 11, 2010 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. A funeral Mass to celebrate Robert's life will be held at Corpus Christi / Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence on Monday, July 12, 2010 at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
