Alan Joseph Morrison, age 80, of Lakeville, MN, died July 3, 2010 at Highview Hills.
Born Dec. 29, 1929 in Owatonna, MN. Preceded in death by parents, Chester and Mary (Quinn) and sister Aileen.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Delores (nee: Johnson); children, Tom, Lynn (Doug) Ascheman, Steven, and David (Kari); grandchildren, Jason, Shannon, Jenna, Christine (Brent), Theresa, Megan (Dustin), Katie, Steven, and Joseph; great-granddaughter, Makayla; and sister Marguerite and Judy McGuire.
Alan graduated from Blooming Prairie in 1947, St. Cloud Teachers College in 1951, and received his MAT degree from University of Washington Pullman in 1962. He taught mathematics for over 34 years at Lakeville High School, Simley High School, and Inver Hills Community College and was named Teacher of the Year at Lakeville and Simley. Alan was a passionate sports fan and enjoyed traveling with his wife.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at All Saints Church in Lakeville.
