David Lee Kimmel 60, of Springville, died at 7 pm on Wednesday, October 8, from injuries sustained in an airplane accident. Born September 22, 1943 he was the son of Charles and Roberta Perkins Kimmel. He was self employed timber harvester. Survivors include his father, Charles Kimmel, three sons, Duane Adkins of Tennessee, Christopher and Darin Kimmel both of Mitchell; two daughters, Trudy Hildum of Mitchell, and Kristine Campbell of Loogootee; two sisters, Vickie Harris and Marian Brazzell of Mitchell. He is preceded in death by his mother, Roberta Kimmel, and one sister, Phyllis Vestal.
