Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Linnea Adams, 77, Cohasset, were held June 2 at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, Cohasset, with the Rev. Fr. Joseph A. Hughes officiating. Interment was at Wildwood Cemetery, Cohasset.
Visitation and wake prayer service were Friday at the Rowe Funeral home.
She was born Oct. 10, 1901 in Sweden and came to the U.S. as a child. She moved to the Cohasset area with her family in 1920. She was a teacher and taught at Freestone, White Oak, and Clark Schools in the area. She was preceded in death by a son Richard in 1961 and her husband Clifford in 1967 and a great granddaughter, Ashen Hope, in 1979. She was married to Clifford L. Adams Dec. 22, 1923 in Grand Rapids. She was a member of St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Cohasset and the Loyal Order of the Moose. She died at her home May 31.
Survivors include one daughter, Eleanor Bourdage, Grand Rapids, and two sons, Leslie and Larry, both of Cohasset, and two sisters, Frances Freeman, San Francisco, Calif., and Iva Haugen, Minot, N.D. Two brothers, Ole Strang, Cohasset, and Paul Strang, Shawnee Mission, Kansas, also survive. There are 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren."
