Wife of LeRoy John Dahler

Joanne Herbst Dahler, 66, of Germantown, public relations specialist for Avionics Specialists Inc., died Monday, October 25, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Burial in Memorial Park cemetery. She was a communicant at Church of the Holy Spirit and a member of the ladies Evening Group. She was a board member of Madonna Circle and Brooks Museum League, a member of ladies of Charity, a Brooks Museum docent for 16 years and a recipient of the Volunteer of the Year Award and Docent of the Year Award. She was awarded the Paul Harris Award from the Rotary Club. Mrs. Dahler, the wife of Leroy Dahler for 48 years, also leaves a daughter, Laurie Bailey of Olive Branch; four sons, Roger Dahler of Collierville, David Dahler of Germantown, Mark Dahler of Memphis and Eric Dahler of Cordova; three sisters, Diane Kittelson, Mary Carlson and Debbie Norman, and five brothers, Ervin Herbst, Dennis Herbst, Charley Herbst, Russell Herbst and Michael Herbst, all of Minneapolis; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
