Mrs. Dora Paul, wife of William Paul, living eight miles southwest of Gilman in Jasper County, died this morning at 8 o'clock. Mrs. Paul had suffered several years with asthma, which was the cause of her death.
Mrs. Paul was born Dora Green on March 28, 1874, near Gilman. She was married to William Paul on December 26, 1892. She is survived by her husband, mother, Mrs. William Green of Gilman, three daughters, and three sons.
The children are Mrs. Mabel Somerville and Mrs. Edith Nead of Laurel; Miss Margaret Paul, and Joseph, Lewis, and Andrew Paul, all of whom live at home. Four brothers and seven sisters also survive in the persons of William and Douglas Green of Gilman, Edwin Green of Crookston, Minnesota, George Green of California, Mrs. John and Mrs. David Paul of Laurel, Mrs. S.R. Ludlow of Gilman, Mrs. William Hennessey of Osage, Mrs. James Forman of Gilman, Mrs. R. Baker of Fairfield, South Dakota, and Miss Helen Green of Gilman.
Funeral services will be held from the Congregational Church of Gilman on Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Rev. Mr. Wistler of Chester Center will conduct the services.
