Eugenia was also known as Eugenie, Gena and Genia. She was born in Slutsk, which is now in Belarus. She married Faddy-Fady-Fyodor Rosowsky, a watchmaker, in 1900 in Rostov, Russia. Eugenia & Faddy immigrated to NYC in 1930. Eugenia apparently went back to Russia for a visit in the mid-1930s and was readmitted to the U.S. in 1937. The surname was sometimes spelled Rosovsky or Rozowski.
