Lauren Elizabeth Cole, Age 22 years old, of Bristol, TN passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2009 from an automobile accident.
Lauren was born April 3, 1987, in Johnson City, TN to her Parents; William Ronald Cole and Carol Slagle Cole.
She lived in Bristol all her life and was a graduate of Tennessee High School. Lauren was currently attending East Tennessee State University where she was an honor student. She was a member of Jonesboro United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: her parents, Ron and Carol Slagle Cole; brother, Matt Cole; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William P. Slagle Sr.; fiance and soul one, Jimi Meyers; aunts, Clara Cole Biggers and Nancy Garrity; and uncles, John "Tad" Cole, Bill Slagle Jr.
A memorial service for Lauren will be held at 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Stephen Musick officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lauren Elizabeth Cole Scholarship Fund, c/o Region's Bank in Bristol, TN. Arrangements have been made with Weaver Funeral Home.
