Born Dec. 27, 1905, in Gilson to Ernest and Ludia Burnaugh Reynolds, she married Clifford Carder in 1929 in Kahoka, Mo. She later married Norman Watters on Aug. 22, 1940, in Kahoka, Mo. He died Aug. 28, 1980. She later married Rothard Carlson on May 7, 1983, in Knoxville. He died July 2, 1984.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Leland Carder; five sisters; and two brothers.
Surviving are three sisters, Thelma Mitchell and Ruby Martin, both of Galesburg, and Fern Olson of Aurora, Colo.; and several nieces and nephews.
She attended nurses' training at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.
She attended Brown's Business College in Galesburg for one year.
She worked as a licensed vocational nurse and as a medical records librarian in Chico, Calif., retiring in 1977.
She was president of the American Gold Star Mothers for the states of Arizona, California and Nevada.
She was a member of Knoxville Senior Citizens.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Knoxville.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hurd-Hendricks Funeral Home in Knoxville, where visitation will be one hour before. The Rev. Jerry Hill will officiate. Burial will be in Knoxville Cemetery.
