NOCONA, Tex (Special) Sherry Jane Barker, 21 of Gainesville, was killed Friday evening in a two-car accident Six miles south of Gainesville. Services will be at 2 pm. Sunday at First United Methodist Church here with the Rv. Richard Perry, pastor, and Bill Yeargin, officiating. Burial will be in Nocona cemetery under direction of Daugherty McGaughy Funeral Home of Nocona.
Mrs. Barker was born Dec. 10, 1948 in Nocona and married to Glenn Barker, Jan. 20,1967 in Nocona. She was the daughter of the late Jimmy Curlin and Mrs. Jane Curlin and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Nocona. She was a student at North Texas State University and moved to Gainesville a year ago from Nocona. Survivors include her husband; one son, Bret of the home; her mother, Mrs. Curlin of Nocona; one sister, Cindy Curlin of Nocona and two brothers, John and Jay, also of Nocona.
