Graveside services for Katherine S. Norwood, of Brookhaven, were 11 a.m. today, May 2 at Easthaven Cemetery. Harrigill Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Norwood, 78, died April 30, 2005, at her residence. She was born in Lincoln County on Dec. 13, 1926, to Herman O. Summers and Daisy T. Waldrop Summers.
She was a retired real estate broker and former owner of Century 21 Real Estate. She was a member of the Methodist faith.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, John Abel Norwood; and two brothers, Billy Summers and Donald Summers.
Survivors are her sister, Bette S. Moak, of Bogue Chitto; and Gordon Summers, of Brookhaven.
