Olive Caroline, daughter of Sidney and Rachel Butler, was born near Hadly, Lapeer County, Michigan, Jan. 24, 1877 and moved to Kalkaska county with her parents when about 14 months old where she has lived. She was married to Grant Wonsey September 21, 1893, and in this union were born 13 children of whom eight survive. She leaves to mourn her loss, six daughters, Mrs. Jennie Bavin, Mrs. Lucy Hall, Mrs. Ada Dansingburg, Alice, Olive and Gladys Wonsey of South Boardman; two sons, Philip of Iron Mountain and Howard at home, and 12 grandchildren; one brother, William Butler of South Boardman and two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Puffer of South Boardman and Mrs. Nellie Saurtz of Millington, Michigan, besides a host of other relatives. She departed from this life April 7, 1928, age 51 years, 2 months and 13 days. Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 10th at the L.D.S. church at South Boardman.
