Kevin J. Brock, 29, of Decatur, passed away at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis on June 13, 2009.
He was born on February 27, 1980, in Decatur to Charles G. and Diane A. (Kline) Brock.
He married Sherry A. Mayes on August 13, 2005; she survives in Decatur, along with their 18-month-old son, James A. Brock.
He is also survived by his stepfather and mother, Rick J. and Diane A. Ladd of Decatur; two sisters, Lisa Dague of Decatur and Debra (Scott) McConnehey of Fort Wayne; his maternal grandmother, Alice Kline of Decatur; a nephew, Kody Fowler of Decatur; and four nieces and nephews, Sequoia, Nathan, and Josh Kennedy and Jasmine McConnehey, all of Fort Wayne.
Kevin was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church, rural Decatur. He was also a former employee of Berne Furniture before becoming disabled.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2009, from 3-6 p.m. at Haggard and Sefton Funeral Home, Decatur, with a memorial service following at 7 p.m. in Union Chapel United Methodist Church. Pastor Ed Karges will be officiating.
Memorials may be made to the family.
