N.A. Millet, 51, Planter, Dies at LaPlace Home
LA PLACE, La, Nov 28 - N. Alberic Millet, 51, a prominent planter and citizen of this community, died Tuesday at midnight after an illness of about 36 hours. He was buried Wednesday afternoon following funeral services at St Peter's church at Reserve. Interment was in the family tomb at Edgard. Fathers Eyraud, of Reserve, and Stenmans, of Edgard, officiated.
Mr Millet was an active and chartered member of the John A Reine Camp No. 504, Woodman of the World. Mr Millet leaves a wife, formerly Miss Olympe Perilloux; a son and three daughters: Joseph E Millet, a student at L.S.U; Misses Estelle, Marcelle and Josepha Millet, students of the Godchaux High School. Also a brother, B. Noe Millet.
