Mrs William Armstrong
Mrs Alice J. Armstrong a life long resident of the Toga community until the last seven years died at 6 :15 p.m. Wednesday at the T. O. Palmer home in ottumwa route 4, She had been in ill for a year.
Alice is the daugher of John Taylor & Ibby (Landers ) Taylor.
Surviving are a daughter and two sons. Mrs Elizabeth Sheely, Fairmont Min.; Ora Armstrong, Ottumwa, and J. M. Armstrong of Merigold , Miss. Also surviving are a brother jerry Taylor, Joplin Mo.; two half - brothers, Shadrick Taylor, Rose Hill, and William Taylor, Blue Earth Min. , 26 grandchildren and 21 great - grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband William in 1925 a son O. E. and a daughter Margaret.
Funeral services for Mrs. Armstrong 82 who died at the O. T. Plamer home , ottumwa route 4 at 6:15 p. m. Wednesday were held at 2:30 p.m. today at the Toga Church. Mrs. Armstrong had been a lifelong resident.The body was taken from the community Funeral services Chapel to the church at the hour of services. Burial at the Tioga cemetery.
