Daniel A CoeSr. grave is, (I thought) located in the Martinburg Church of Christ Cemetery,(Pekin Address), Pierce Twp.,Washington Co., Indiana. There was no stone to mark his grave site, but a map of the cemetery "with Dan Coe's name recorded on it", is in Bill Martin's Appliance Store which is located just down the street from the entrance of the cemetery.
On June 7, 2010 I, Charlene, a gr-gr granddaughter, placed a metal marker made by DaWalt Funeral Home to mark his grave and it was replaced with a stone marker several months later by one of my Hurst cousins.
...but I have made a mistake as to this being his burial place. This grave site in Martinburg Cemetery is not my Daniel A. Coe Sr. grave site but his nephew, Daniel V., "Dan" Coe's grave site # 102926536, 1862-1909, son of James and and Nancy McKinley Coe.
I am trying to locate his real grave site and as soon as I can, I will have the grave-marker that I placed by mistake on Daniel V. Coe's grave site in the Martinburg Cemetery removed. I am placing Daniel A. Coe Sr. in the Plesant Ridge Cemetery-Borden, Clark, Indiana, where his wife Esther Welch Coe was buried in 1857.
