***** I served with David and was there when he was killed. He was one of 6 troopers from A and D company killed that tragic day. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of this brave soldier.

***** Dave and I served together at Redstone Missle Arsenal in Alabama, then sat next to each other on the flight to Nam. Talked to Dave one time, during our tour he went to 1/8th, I went to 1/5th Cav., as medics. Saw him day before he gave his life for this country. I didn't know he was KIA., until I went down to 1/8th Hqs. to rotate with Dave back to the real world. He was a great guy, great bowler and most of all, a great friend. God Bless America and God Bless David Cushing. I think, of him often and miss his laugh and sense of humor.
