Francis Maria Carrio was born and lived her entire life in Fernandina. Her parents were Santiago M. Carrio (Leria Parish Gijon Spain) and Emelia Carrio (Gartz Rugen Island Germany) Her parents immigrated to America, met and married in New York City. Francis had 3 siblings. Manuel Jose Carrio, Virginia Carrio and Sophie Carrio. She never married. All of her family is burried in St. Peter's Chruch Cemetery with the exception of Sophie Carrio. She married Edward Hopkins and is buried in Bosque Bella cemetery in Fernandina.
