A Pollock native, she was a member of the First Baptist Church, Order of Eastern Star, and Woodmen Circle. She was a former resident of Winnfield.
Survivors include two sons, Vernon of Chester, Va., and Liney [sic Lindy] of Pollock; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Franklin of Arkadelphia, Ark., and Mrs. Edna Winham of Pollock; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Southern Funeral Home chapel in Winnfield with Revs. Gerald Williams, C. E. Brewer, and W. G. Berry officiating. Burial was in the Winnfield Cemetery.
