She resided in Triangle, VA, and was the operator of Faye's Incognito Shop. She was an accomplished seamstress and known for gown creations for the "Quantico Marine Ball". She was a longtime member of the Dumfries United Methodist Church in Dumfries, VA.

Widow of Emory T. Minter, she was also preceded in death by daughter, Faye Paden.

Survivors include son, Emory T. Minter; grandchildren, Tracy Lynn Maston of Maryland, Suzanne Michelle Mayberry of Virginia, Emory Thomas Minter of Connecticut, & Whitney Leigh Paden of Florida; great-grandchildren, Robert Madison Mayberry III & Kristina Faye Mayberry.

Interment followed funeral services conducted Saturday, March 13, 2010.
