Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, St. Cloud, for James M. Maurer, 52, who died Sunday at St. Cloud Hospital.Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sauk Rapids.Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Sauk Rapids.James Maurer was born in Little Falls to Leo and Marie (Gau) Maurer. He married Bobbi Keeler on June 30, 1995, in St. Paul. He lived in the Twin Cities area, and was an audit manager for the State of Minnesota Department of Revenue for 30 years. He was a past member of the North St. Paul Jaycees.Survivors include his wife; sons, Jamey of St. Cloud, and Jason of Round Rock, Texas; brothers and sisters, Bob of Clearwater, John of Foley, Mary Frank of Cold Spring, Susan Frank of Watkins, Chuck and Ken of Sauk Rapids, Pat Messer of Oak Grove, Mike of Atwater, and Barb Strack of Randall; and three step grandchildren.He also leaves behind Jamey and Jason's mother, Sharon Ehnstrom of Round Rock, Texas.
