He was born on Oct. 8, 1962, in Sidney, the son of Paul and Carol (Saintinon) Young, who survive him.
Darren is also survived by his wife, Candy (Williams) Young, of Sidney; one son: Jordon Young, of Sidney; a stepdaughter, Tara Pellman, of Sidney; stepson, Justin Cayton, of Sidney; one brother, Larry Young, of Sidney: three sisters and brothers-in-law: Deb and Larry Motsinger and Tammy and Don Herring, both of Sidney, and Heidi and Jay Kleiber, of Anna; and many nieces and nephews.
Darren was a member of the Moose Lodge in Sidney and the Troy Fish and Game Club. He was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Sidney. Darren was a team leader at Honda Manufacturing in Anna for 24 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 9, 2010, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, with Deacon John Holthaus officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Sidney.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
