The deceased was survived by his wife, Mrs. Zone Bell (Belzona "Zonie" Springer Summers; three daughters, Mrs. Elmo "Modie" Rodgers (James Isaac, Jr, 1914-2002), Mrs. Minnie Ann Farris (James Aubrey, 1914-1994), and Mrs. Edith Lura Cardwell (Clinton Eugene "Gene", 1913-2007); two sons, James Orlan Summers (1909-1958) and Lonnie Carroll Summers (1921-1995); and 21 grandchildren.
