"William J. Ansel"
William J. "Bill" Ansel, a highly decorated veteran of World War II, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2003. He was 77.
Bill was a superintendent for B & C Construction. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Mary; sons William II and Casey Ansel; stepchildren Glenda and David Woods; grandchildren Carie Briggs, Marli, Travis, Chance and Adam Ansel; Joe, Fred and Eric Woods; his pride and joy, great-grandson Colton Briggs; his sisters, Betty Petrusek and Jean Gladney.
Visitation with the family will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2003 at Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Road, where funeral services will be held at 10 .m. Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003. Graveside services and interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Morton Cemetery in Richmond.
Arrangements are under the direction of Waltrip Funeral Directors, 1415 Campbell Rd., in Houston, 713-465-2525.
