Wanda D. Bishop, 63, died July 4, 2010, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita. She was born Dec. 22, 1946, in Syracuse, the daughter of Albert and Betty Hanes Willshusen. A resident of Hutchinson since 1984, she had previously lived in Sterling. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, where she had taught Sunday School.

Survivors include: a son, Kenneth, Hutchinson, a brother, John Willshusen, Colorado, a sister, Alberta Watson, Kansas, two granddaughters, Terri and Kimberly Bishop, both of Hutchinson, and a grandson, Richard Bishop, Hutchinson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Shiela Bishop.

Cremation is planned. Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson, with Pastor Larry Wedel presiding. Inurnment will follow at Sterling City Cemetery. Friends may sign the register book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
